China town and pancakes

A fantastic day was had by all today, on our visit to China town.
We saw lots of lanterns and statues, exotic foods and smelt some delicious pastries!

"My favourite part was seeing all the lanterns." Farrah-R2

As today is pancake day, we also got to taste some pancakes with a topping of jam, chocolate, lemon or maple syrup.  It was messy but very yummy.

Chinese new year celebrations

Happy Chinese new year! Today we began our Chinese new year celebrations by making noodles and spring rolls for our banquet.
We didn't have a knife and fork instead we used chop sticks. The food tasted delicious.

We are looking forward to going to China town tomorrow to see all the beautiful decorations.
