Moon rock cakes

This week we have been learning about the moon. We found out it is made of rock, so we decided to bake some moon rock cakes.  They were delicious, we would definitely take them if we were going to the moon!

Reception have guinea pigs

Today we had the arrival of two new additions to reception.. two baby guinea pigs named comet and chestnut. 
They have settled nicely into their new home and we are very excited to learn more about caring and looking after Guniea pigs!

Sponsored space hop

Today we begun our sponsored space hop.. so far we have all managed to successfully complete 5 laps of the playground on our space hoppers. It was very tiring!

If you have any sponsorship money now is the perfect time to bring it in along with the form.

We will carry on hopping tomorrow, but here are few photos so far!

Volunteers!

We think there has been some confusion over adult volunteers for our trip in a few weeks time. Paige and Basheera spoke to a few R2 parents this morning requesting volunteers from R2, as only one R2 parent had volunteered and to be fair to the children, we like to have representatives from both classes. We do have plenty of volunteers and unfortunately can't take you all.
